Tallinn, Estonia - Patrick presented a seminar at the University of Tallinn as part of the BeWise Lecture Series. The seminar was called: "Do You Want to Get Lucky? (Creating Your Own Opportunities)." About 70 students attended the seminar held on St. Patrick's Day at the university.

Roosta, Estonia - Patrick was the head trainer of the JCI COC Academy in Roosta. COC stands for Conference Organizing Committee and the Academy showed participants how to organize large scale conferences, including leading you COC team, logistics and sponsorship strategies, event management and conference execution. The Academy hosted people from Europe, Africa, North America and South America.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Patrick spoke at the inaugural Spiritual Care Network luncheon as the keynote speaker. Psychologists, spiritual leaders, coaches, therapists and others gathered for a networking event and heard Patrick discuss overcoming tragedy and adversity.

January/February 2014 (news)

West Palm Beach, Florida - Patrick presented a one hour seminar to the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office entitled: "A Victim's Perspective . . . from someone who also happens to be a lawyer". He spoke to about 100 assistant state attorneys about how to interact and manage the victims and witnesses in their cases. Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg had wonderful things to say about the presentation noting that it was both inspiring and practical with a fresh perspective on these issues.

Tucson, Arizona - Patrick flew out to Arizona to speak to the men's Christian golf group called LINKS in Tuscon Arizona the day after Thanksgiving. He spoke to about 80 people who gathered to hear his inspirational story and how faith helped him overcome adversity.

Scottsdale, Arizona - Two days after Thanksgiving, Patrick spoke again in Scottsdale, Arizona to another Christian men's group about the role of faith in dealing with tragedy.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida: Patrick spoke at a Mental Health Conference to nearly 500 people in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as an inspirational keynote during lunch. Patrick shared his story of triumph over tragedy and talked about the role of faith in getting through such adversity.

Helsinki, Finland - Patrick travelled to Helsinki to present a seminar and a key note speech. First, Patrick conducted the seminar: Do You Want to Get Lucky? (Creating Opportunities). Subsequently, he presented a key note about Overcoming Tragedy, which was followed by a book signing for his book: Blessed to Survive.

Curacao - Netherland Antilles: Patrick travelled to Curacao in the Caribbean to present two seminars during the IOBA Master Class for young professionals in Curacao. Patrick taught the course Positive Seduction on day one and then conducted Painting With Passion: The Effective Use of Words on day two. Afterward, Patrick visited the Ostrich Farm where he rode an ostrich bare back.

Miami, Florida - Patrick taught a one hour seminar at the Miami-Dade State Attorney Office entitled: A Victim's Perspective: From a Victim Who Happens to Be a Lawyer. Patrick taught prosecutors how to deal with the victims they work with and gave a unique perspective to these lawyers with anecdotes from personal experience and stories of others.
