Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Patrick was the keynote speaker on November 5 at the Interfaith Breakfast event organized by the Samaritan Counseling Centers. Patrick spoke about the role of faith in overcoming adversity. About 150 clergy, therapists, counselors and officers were in attendance at the Westin Hotel.

Deerfield Beach, Florida - on October 24, Patrick presented a seminar and talk for the Florida Association of School Social Workers at their annual state conference. Nearly 200 school social workers participated in a program to learn about changing one's attitude and dealing with heavy burdens.

Copenhagen, Denmark - Patrick presented a short seminar to JCI Denmark on how to think creatively as a leader in order to motivate the members of an organization and increase membership size.

Miami, Florida - on October 27, Patrick spoke at the Florida International University - School of Medicine to the American Medical Students Association.  Patrick described his experience in recovery after tragedy when he woke up from a three month coma. He talked about the roles of doctors and nurses in the recovery process  and gave an inside look into the mind of a trauma patient.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Patrick presented a seminar to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department negotiators regarding communication and dealing with people who have hit rock bottom. During the presentation, Patrick shared his story of triumph after major tragedy and gave tips on negotiating with people in dire situations.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Patrick spoke to a group of about 100 recovering addicts at the Recovery Place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He touched on getting in the right mindset, celebrating small victories and choosing how to handle your burdens. Afterward, Patrick held a book-signing session at the facility.

Boca Raton, Florida - Patrick spoke at the meeting for the WOAMTEC networking group in Boca Raton. Patrick discussed resiliency in life while balancing faith, family and career.

Miami, Florida - Patrick presented two seminars at the state conference of JCI Florida, an organization for young leaders in business and the community. Participants from all over the state travelled to Hotel Urbano on Brickell Avenue for the conference. In the morning session, Patrick presented Positive Seduction in Leadership.  For the afternoon session, he presented Jumpstart Your Organization.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Patrick spoke to the City of Fort Lauderdale Police Department focusing specifically on their Critical Incident Response Debriefing team regarding resiliency and coping mechanisms for dealing with tragedy. Patrick talked about visualization techniques, therapy, mental image strategies and ways to maintain a positive mindset during recovery.

Willemstad, Curaçao - Patrick itraveled to Curacao to present a half- day workshop for the Master Class organized by IOBA. Patrick is discussed Corporate Social Responsibility and it's impact on Caribbean countries who are trying to compete in a global market place. Participants from all sectors of Curaçao's business community were in attendance including government employees, the banking and finance industry, mining and oil, etc.

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida -  Patrick was a special guest speaker at Covenant Centre International, a church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. While sharing his story of overcoming adversity, Patrick discussed the role of faith and the strength he received from God to continue on with his life.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Patrick was the keynote speaker at the House of Hope in Fort Lauderdale, which is a live-in facility for men and women struggling with drug and alcohol dependency. Patrick spoke to over 100 men and women about overcoming challenges in their lives and maintaining a healthy positive attitude while doing so.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Patrick was invited back a second time to be a speaker at the annual Broward Mental Health Conference, which was an event organized by the Broward Crime Commission. Several hundred participantsc ame for the day long event to hear speakers and network in the mental health field. Patrick spoke about overcoming adversity and healthy recovery.

Sunrise, Florida - Patrick was the keynote speaker at the C.O.P.E. Conference organized by the Broward Coalition of Aging in Sunrise, Florida. Patrick spoke about resiliency and how to help others cope with recovery and overcoming challenges.
