Istanbul, Turkey - Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Patrick traveled to Istanbul to speak at the Bahcesahir University. Patrick conducted a two hour seminar called: Roar Like a Lion - Commanding the Room as a Speaker. Patrick also met with the local press in Istanbul to discuss his appearance in Turkey and also the need for a Toastmasters or JCI group at the university.

Miami, Florida: On December 12, Patrick conducted the Jumpstart Your Organization seminar for the new board of directors of the Coconut Grove Jr. Chamber of Commerce. The seminar focused on how to identify the target audience and ultimately how to get those people interested in joining the organization.

Book acknowledgements: Patrick has been cited and/or acknowledged in two recent books that have been published internationally. A case study about Patrick was included in the Portuguese book: Networking - Your Professional Survival Guide by Filipe Carrera. In addition, Patrick was mentioned in the acknowledgements of The Leader's Workbook by Norwegian author, Kai Roer.
