November 2010 (news)

Osaka, Japan: Patrick traveled to Osaka, Japan, speaking at the JCI World Congress. JCI is a world-wide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs and this World Congress had nearly 8,000 people in attendance from more than 100 countries around the world. During the conference, Patrick gave a series of four talks during the morning show presentations on a variety of topics from the impact of one person on a community to working in local organizations to global networking to future planning. On the first day, he also spoke about his journey over the last year from tragedy to survival through perserverance. The presentations were streamed live all over the world through the JCI website.

Osaka, Japan: On November 3rd, Patrick presented a 3-hour seminar on networking to make connections. The class was originally set for 30 participants but with such a huge overflow a second group of 30 attendees was allowed into the seminar. Later, on November 6th, Patrick presented the seminar Do You Want to Get Lucky: How to Turn an Idea into Reality. This seminar also had an overflow crowd of more than 140 participants from six different continents.

Westmont, Illinois - On Sunday, November 14, Patrick spoke to a packed sanctuary at Bethel Lutheran Church in Westmont, which is a western suburb of Chicago. Patrick grew up in this church and returned for a homecoming of sorts to talk about Overcoming Tragedy and Moving Forward.
